The ministry of the Word in the life of the Christian is foundational and there are no replacements for it. The Bible conveys the idea to us that the condition of our heart is a fundamental factor in whether or not we produce fruit by the Word. This is a call for us to examine our hearts and see if they are in a good soil state or not.
