God desires that His people are encouraged and strengthened in their faith. The call for the Christian is to patiently wait for the Lord to fulfill all that He has promised, and we have men and women who have gone before us to look to. Abraham, though weak and fallen like the rest of humanity, shows us what it looks like to wait patiently for the salvation of the Lord.
