Jesus speaks some of the most terrifying words in all of Scripture in Matthew 7. "Not everyone who says to Me, "Lord, Lord," will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but only those who do the will of My Father. The parable that follows these words are sharp words but they are comforting words for the Christian. We learn that there is only one foundation that is truly worth building on. Building our lives on Christ is the only way to discover eternal life.
