Angels were involved, to a degree, in the Old Covenant. Hebrews, continuing to demonstrate that Jesus is better than all of the Old Covenant, addresses the matter of angels. Christ is not some angelic being or some heavenly creature. No, He is the Davidic King, the Eternal Son, the Conqueror and Ruler of nations. Understanding the identity of Jesus is important because our salvation depends entirely upon Him.
