The subject of Melchizedek is a difficult one. The author of Hebrews actually says its difficult to explain. However, if we can grab hold of this subject it will only serve to arouse our trust and faith in Christ who is our Great High Priest. This is a doctrine of the office of Christ's Priesthood that is the grounds for the believer's assurance!
